VNA presents the first annual “Legends and Leaders” fundraiser to benefit the organization’s Hospice Care, Meals on Wheels and Private Care services.The evening includes a VIP reception and dinner with some of the city’s biggest names in business, philanthropy, sports, theater, fine arts, education, medicine, hospitality, architecture, culinary arts, and law. Guests are invited to dine with Dallas icons, including Mayor Mike Rawlings, celebrity chef Stephan Pyles and Broadway producer Roger Horchow. Tickets are $500 each; a reduced rate of $250 will also be available for young professionals wishing to attend the event. Prayer for martyrs (Community)

On April 9, 2013 at 7pm Prayer for Martyrs will be holding its second gathering at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Representatives from Catholic, Protestant, Eastern and Oriental Orthodox communities will be in attendance. Prayers will be said and songs sung for martyred and persecuted Christians. Please contact us for more information to become a participating church or organization.
